Tat toxoid

"Tat toxoid" is a name for chemically-inactivated tat protein - a potential vaccine for HIV. It has been found to induce patients' bodies to produce anti-Tat antibodies.

Tat toxoid mimics HIV tat protein in stimulating the immune system, but it doesn't have the real protein's toxic effect.
